In this episode of Five Minutes With Fletch, I sit down with none other than Billy Bolt, the five-time FIM Super Enduro World Champion and the first-ever Hard Enduro World Champion! It's a dream come true to chat with Billy finally, he’s been on my list since I started Five Minutes With Fletch.
I caught up with him early this month at the Mike Brown Memorial Meeting, where we dive into everything from tongue twisters to mic drops - literally!
Can I stump the legendary Billy Bolt with one of my questions?
We chat about Billy's ultimate goals, his preference between indoor and outdoor racing, his dream bike, and the superstitions/rituals accompanying his journey.
Billy also explains why he believes in fun before dreams, the dreamy idea of becoming a Red Bull athlete and how it once felt like an unattainable goal, and an honest chat about negative thinking. You will also get to witness his lack of decision-making skills.
This is a glimpse into the mind of a true champion!
Thanks to Billy Bolt for the interview.

I catch up with two-stroke demon and goggle guy Rob Holyoake on this edition of Five Minutes With Fletch.
Rob dives deep into his lifelong love for two-stroke motorcycles, reminiscing about the distinct smells, roaring sounds, and waves of nostalgia. But picking a favourite bike is a more difficult question to answer!
Rob also shares his thoughts on Foxhill (who else remembers that epic ride in the 2023 event [check out YouTube if you haven't already seen it), highlighting why there's nothing like riding through the Foxhill valleys, especially when the crowd is buzzing with energy.
As we explore his ultimate race day, Rob ponders the age-old question: Is the first or last lap more crucial to victory? He spills the beans on his strategies for psyching out the competition, discusses his questionable nutrition choices, and reflects on some unforgettable moments from his racing journey.
Additionally, we dive into the classic debate of SX versus MX, and, of course, we tackle that one burning question that every kit fan (aka me) wants answered!
Thanks to Rob Holyoake for the interview.
